What to do when your boiler pressure is low March 14, 2019 HOW DO I TOP MY BOILER PRESSURE UP?For this you will need to find the filling loop, some are integral to the boiler (never remove the case from the appliance) and some are external. Find the filling loop, open the valve and repressurise your heating system. Check your boiler manual for instructions on how to do this. WHAT SHOULD THE PRESSURE BE? Ideally the pressure should be between 1.0-1.5 bar when cold.I HAVE TO TOP UP MY PRESSURE ALL THE TIME Having to do this is an indication that there may be a leak on the system, within the boiler or a problem with expansion. We would first advise that you check all visible pipework and radiators for leaks, don’t just assume because you haven’t noticed a leak that there isn’t one.
